ACO Coaching Enrichment Series: ICF's New Credentialing Requirements

Working toward your ACC or PCC, or renewing an existing credential? The ICF's credentialing path is changing, effective January 1, 2027. The portfolio route's performance evaluation is being phased out in favor of structured mentor coaching, and every credential candidate will need to work with a mentor coach who holds the new ICF Mentor Coach Specialization (MCS), whether through an accredited program or an outside mentor. This applies to candidates coming through Level 1/Level 2 programs and the Portfolio path alike.
